The Skills Bootcamp was a great starting point for me as I had no prior qualifications other than my GCSE’s and I wasn’t prepared to go to University. I started my Level 3 Early Years Educator accelerated apprenticeship 2 weeks after I finished the Skills Bootcamp. I have been able to apply everything I’ve learnt during my placement, along with the information I learnt during the online workshops.

My Tutor was great and explained everything clearly, I learnt about what a key person and practitioner does in a nursery setting , and the 7 key areas of development in the EYFS I enjoyed discussing everyone’s different ideas.

One of the workshops was about having confidence in ourselves and in the workplace, how to improve our CV’s and personal development. I think it was all great. I enjoyed the ways we were all able to engage with each other and the group always feels like a safe place to talk about what we think. I will be trying to implement time for reflection throughout the week so I can keep track of my progress towards my goals as well as any self-improvement. Learning about ways we can continue to improve ourselves, not only through the duration of the course but throughout our lives, was really helpful.

Best company to expand your learning in a skill. I have really enjoyed doing my early years apprenticeship so far, they are very helpful when i needed help and the lessons are very informative. Great group sessions
