We’re committed to shaping the next generation of leaders who are not only skilled in their fields but also passionate about making a positive impact on the planet. So, how do we do it?

Embedding Sustainability Principles in Education

Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. And that starts with our curriculum. We’ve aligned our training programmes with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs. Think Climate Action (SDG 13), Quality Education (SDG 4), and Responsible Consumption and Production (SDG 12). This isn’t just about teaching concepts. It is about helping our learners connect the dots between what they do and how it impacts the world. From environmental awareness to sustainable resource management, our apprentices learn how to make greener choices that create healthier, more eco-friendly Early Years settings.

Hands-On Learning for Sustainable Practices

Learning should be fun, right? That’s why we get our learners involved in hands-on activities to bring sustainability to life. Whether it’s creating educational resources from recycled materials or setting up waste reduction initiatives. Or even trying out nature-based learning approaches, our apprentices get stuck in. These activities aren’t just great for the environment; they’re also amazing for building confidence and creativity. Plus, they’re equipping our learners with practical skills they can use every day to make a positive impact.

Fostering Sustainable Leadership

We’re all about turning today’s learners into tomorrow’s leaders. Through our training, apprentices become sustainability champions, taking the lead in making their Early Years settings greener. From introducing recycling stations to starting vegetable gardens, they’re not just talking the talk – they are walking the walk! We also encourage them to share their knowledge, teaching little ones and their families about eco-friendly habits. It’s all about creating a ripple effect, where one small change inspires many more.

Measuring Impact and Driving Awareness

Here’s the exciting part – our approach is working! We have seen learners embrace sustainable practices, both personally and professionally. They’re reducing waste, swapping single-use plastics for reusable materials, and designing eco-friendly learning environments that children love. And the best bit? Through our partnership with Ecologi, we’ve planted over 6,950 trees (and counting!). From reforestation projects in Madagascar to wind power initiatives in Mexico, we’re proud to be making a global impact alongside our learners.

Innovating for a Sustainable Future

We’re not stopping here – oh no! We are just getting started! In 2025, we’re rolling out a brand-new e-learning module packed with interactive tools to supercharge our sustainability focus. Think quizzes, case studies, and tips to help learners turn ideas into action. We’re also working hard to re-secure our B Corp accreditation because sustainability is more than a value – it’s who we are. And, of course, we’re always on the lookout for fresh ways to go green, from virtual classrooms to reducing paper use.
