Shoots Training is thrilled to announce a major milestone in our journey – we’ve been named Winner of the ‘Sustainability in Training and Apprenticeships’ award at the prestigious ATC Training Awards! This momentous achievement is not only a recognition of our hard work, but also a celebration of our unwavering commitment to putting sustainability at the heart of everything we do.
Why This Award Matters
The ATC Training Award celebrate excellence across the UK’s training and development sector, spotlighting organisations that are creating lasting, positive change. To win in the sustainability category is no small feat. It reinforces that the work we do at Shoots Training is making a meaningful difference in the lives of learners, apprentices, and the future of our planet.
Sustainability in Action: Training with Real Impact
At Shoots, sustainability isn’t just a word we like to sometimes use. It’s embedded into every part of our delivery. From promoting digital learning to cutting down paper waste to inspiring apprentices to bring eco-friendly practices into their workplaces. We’re proud to walk the walk. This award acknowledges the real-world impact of those initiatives. It inspires us to push even further in building a training model that puts the planet first.
Sustainability: A Win That Aligns with Our Identity
As we transition from Aspire Training Team to our new identity as Shoots Training, this award could not have come at a more meaningful time. It validates the vision behind our rebrand. To create a nurturing, planet-friendly training company that grows talent in the most sustainable way possible.
As Kelly Medley, our Director of Quality and Audit, perfectly put it:
“Sustainability has always been at the heart of what we do… this recognition is a testament to our team’s dedication.”
Looking Ahead, Growing Greener
Winning this award is more than a proud moment – it’s a powerful motivator. It pushes us to keep innovating, keep championing green practices, and keep developing training that prepares learners for a more sustainable future. At Shoots, we believe that when we nurture people and the planet together, the results speak for themselves.
